INTO THE WOODS

INTO THE WOODS is a celebration of canonical fairy tales – and an exploration of what happens when these great stories get turned inside out! With beautiful and complex music by Stephen Sondheim, INTO THE WOODS challenges us all with its pertinent questions about family, fate, and purpose. The musical debuted in San Diego at the Old Globe Theatre in 1986 and premiered on Broadway in 1987, where it won several Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Score.
